The team behind the concept—John Teixeira, founder of the popular OUT Sports League, and Devon Tillman, formerly of Island Time— are giving guests an exclusive first look at the menu, the space, and the welcoming energy that defines the Outpost experience. But there’s one important catch: reservations are required. Walk-ins may not be accommodated due to limited space during the preview. Send your reservation request to outpostorlando@gmail.com.

Southern Comfort, Cold Drinks & a Dash of Sass

Outpost brings a bold-yet-cozy concept to downtown, taking over the former Persimmon Hollow Brewing location. The menu leans heavily into comforting Southern flavors— crispy fried chicken, juicy burgers, mac & cheese, hushpuppies, and fried okra—alongside a curated drink list and plenty of local brews on tap.

The space offers seating for around 200 guests between indoor and outdoor areas, and the atmosphere is as fun as it is inclusive. With flat-screen TVs throughout, it's also designed to be a sports fan's paradise, whether you're catching a game or recapping one with your OUT Sports team.

A Space for Everyone (Yes, Everyone)

While Outpost is proudly gay-owned, it’s built for everyone in the community. The house motto?

All are welcome. Just don’t be a b*tch.

Expect to see that motto front and center—on T-shirts, menus, and perhaps your next favorite mug.

Outpost received an $84,000 grant from the City of Orlando's DTO Restaurant Program, designed to support independent bars and restaurants that help shape the culture of downtown. That funding went toward essential renovations like plumbing and drywall, as well as first-year rent support.

Coming Soon: Brunch, Drag, and More

While dinner is the current focus, the team has plans to launch brunch service soon, with a drag brunch in the works that promises to be one of Orlando’s best.

Whether you're coming off the field with OUT Sports or just looking for a chill new spot with great food and even better vibes, Outpost aims to be your new go-to.
