This relocation marks a milestone for both the company and the city. The new headquarters, located in Lake Nona Town Center at 6876 Marwick Lane, will encompass more than 242,000 square feet of modern office space, making it the largest office lease in Orlando since 2009 and among the top three in city history. The move is expected to be completed by 2027, bringing together nearly 3,000 local employees in a sustainable, state-of-the-art campus designed for collaboration and flexibility.

Why Siemens Energy Chose Lake Nona

Lake Nona’s reputation as a hub for innovation, sustainability, and wellness made it an ideal choice for Siemens Energy’s new headquarters. Designed by Tavistock Development Company, Lake Nona is a 17-square-mile master-planned community that seamlessly integrates business, lifestyle, and technology.

The area is known for its walkability, access to Orlando International Airport and Brightline’s high-speed rail, and a connected ecosystem that encourages collaboration across industries. Siemens Energy’s new space will support the company’s hybrid work model, with flexible layouts, collaboration zones, and technology-driven meeting spaces.

Lake Nona offers a modern workplace environment, including flexible workspaces, improved collaboration zones and meeting rooms, enhanced technology and better amenities in a more sustainable and energy-efficient building,” Siemens Energy said.

A Collaborative Milestone for Orlando’s Economy

This relocation was made possible through a joint effort between Tavistock/Lake Nona, the City of Orlando, the Orlando Economic Partnership, and the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). Each organization played a pivotal role in facilitating the move and ensuring a smooth transition for Siemens Energy’s workforce.

Having a global brand of Siemens Energy’s caliber not only choose to remain here, but expand into Lake Nona, sends a powerful message about the strength of our business climate and the opportunities ahead,” said president and CEO of the Orlando Economic Partnership.

Mayor Buddy Dyer echoed that sentiment, emphasizing how Siemens Energy’s mission aligns with Orlando’s growth trajectory. “Energy drives everything we do and plays a key role in advancing technologies across multiple industries, which is why Siemens Energy is the perfect addition to Lake Nona’s innovation hub,” Dyer said.

A Statement of Confidence in Orlando’s Future

For Siemens Energy, this move is more than an upgrade in office space, it’s an investment in Orlando’s future as a leader in energy innovation and sustainable development. The relocation further establishes Lake Nona as a destination for global headquarters and high-wage job creation, while providing employees with access to exceptional amenities, green spaces, and a strong sense of community.

With its strategic location, smart infrastructure, and vibrant culture, Orlando continues to attract visionary companies seeking the perfect environment for growth. Siemens Energy’s decision to expand here reinforces the city’s reputation as a place where innovation thrives.
