A New Way to Experience Terminal C
The Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program is now a permanent fixture at Orlando International Airport, providing a unique opportunity for both residents and visitors to experience the vibrant offerings of Terminal C. Whether you're in the mood for a culinary adventure, a little retail therapy, or an immersive digital media experience, this program makes it all possible without needing to catch a flight. To gain access, guests must be pre-approved by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and comply with program rules, ensuring a secure and enjoyable visit for everyone.
During the pilot phase, the program garnered significant attention, with over 6,000 reservations made. Visitors cited "exploring Terminal C" and "shopping or dining" as their top reasons for participation. Additionally, many used the program to meet or bid farewell to loved ones or to engage in planespotting, highlighting its broad appeal.
What You Can Expect at Terminal C
The Experience MCO program offers an array of amenities for every type of visitor. Indulge in the diverse culinary options at popular restaurant concepts, browse unique shops, or immerse yourself in interactive art installations like the Moment Vault. “Experience MCO gives our guests the opportunity to enjoy Terminal C on their own time,” says Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) CEO Kevin J. Thibault. “Thanks to the cooperation with our TSA partners, the program is a success. We look forward to more reservations in the future.”
However, there are a few guidelines for participating in the program. Experience MCO guests must adhere to TSA screening procedures, including restrictions on prohibited items and compliance with the 3-1-1 Liquids Rules. Visitors must enter the Terminal C TSA Checkpoint between 10AM and 4PM on the day of their visit and must exit by 8PM. Note that expedited screening options, such as TSA PreCheck, CLEAR, and MCO Reserve, are not applicable to the Experience MCO program.
