Celebrating 100 Years of College Park
This March, the neighborhood of College Park is turning 100, and the community is throwing a party to remember! On Saturday, March 1st, Dartmouth Park will transform into a hub of history, live music, and shared memories for a unique bring-your-own-dinner event.

Guests can decorate their tables with flair—complete with black tablecloths and chairs provided—channeling the festive spirit of Winter Park’s iconic “Dinner on the Avenue.” Sip on wine or beer available for purchase, enjoy live entertainment, and cheer for the creative table award winners in categories like Most Elegant, Most Creative, and Best Overall.
The celebration runs from 6PM to 10PM, with table judging starting promptly at 7PM. Tickets for tables of 10 are $250, and they’re going fast, so be sure to snag yours soon, here!
A Nod to College Park's Past
In October 2023, College Park took another big step in preserving its history by unveiling two stunning historic markers. These markers commemorate the Lake Ivanhoe Historic District and Lake Adair-Lake Concord Historic District, highlighting College Park’s charm and historical significance.
- Lake Ivanhoe Marker: Positioned on the south shore of Lake Ivanhoe, welcoming everyone who enters College Park from the south.
- Lake Adair Marker: Located along Edgewater Drive, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Adair.
These markers, developed by the College Park Historical Society and supported by city leaders, ensure that the neighborhood’s stories will be celebrated for generations to come.
