A Nod to College Park's Past
In October 2023, College Park took another big step in preserving its history by unveiling two stunning historic markers. These markers commemorate the Lake Ivanhoe Historic District and Lake Adair-Lake Concord Historic District, highlighting College Park’s charm and historical significance.
- Lake Ivanhoe Marker: Positioned on the south shore of Lake Ivanhoe, welcoming everyone who enters College Park from the south.
- Lake Adair Marker: Located along Edgewater Drive, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Adair.
These markers, developed by the College Park Historical Society and supported by city leaders, ensure that the neighborhood’s stories will be celebrated for generations to come.
