Swan Causes Traffic Jam on Florida 408 as Police Work to Capture It
Last week, an adult swan created a stir on the Florida 408 East-West Expressway, prompting Orlando Police to respond to a semi-tame swan chase near the Bumby ramp at 7:45AM. Officers closed all eastbound lanes to safely capture the honking bird before rush hour traffic intensified. After successfully apprehending the swan, it was taken to Lake Eola House for evaluation, where it was determined that the bird did not originate from Lake Eola.
